Organic fermented barley distilled off Cabernet Merlot Wine staves and sweet muscatels giving this whisky tiered points of sweetness over a tannin richness and subtle smoky finish. First aged in new French Oak then transferred into older barrels.
Tasting Notes: Earthy depth from local Kawakawa, Horopito and Tarata with caramel, and dark fruits, treacle and a subtle suggestion of smoke and leather.
