Cancellation Policy

 
Last minute cancellations seriously affect our small business

Please be considerate

Deposit:

  • All private bookings require a deposit to secure the date and time of the tasting event.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, except under certain circumstances outlined below.

Cancellation by the Customer:

More than 14 days before the event: Customers can cancel the booking and receive a full refund of the deposit.
  • 7-14 days before the event:
    • Private Tastings: Customers can cancel the booking but will only receive a 50% refund of the deposit. If pre-paid, a 50% refund will apply as well.
    • Public Tastings: Customers can cancel the booking for a full refund. 
  • 2-7 days before the event:
    • Private Tastings: No refund of the deposit will be provided. However, customers can reschedule the event to a later date with a $25 rescheduling fee. If pre-paid, only 25% will be refunded.
    • Public Tastings: Customers can cancel the booking for a 50% refund or a full credit.
  • 48 hours or less before the event
    • Private Tastings: No refund of the deposit will be provided. Rescheduling will incur an additional 50% fee due to food costs. If pre-paid, only 25% will be refunded.
    • Public Tastings: Customers can cancel the booking for a 75% credit. 
  • Sickness: We usually purchase food and supplies ahead of the events and this means last minute cancellations seriously affect our business. Please try and offer your ticket to a friend or family member, and if you cannot, let us know ASAP. Within 48 hours of the event, we will offer you a 75% credit, for use at a future event as a last resort.

Rescheduling:

Customers may reschedule the event at no additional cost if the request is made more than 7 days before the scheduled date.
Rescheduling requests made less than 7 days before the event will incur a rescheduling fee of $25.
24 hours or less before the event: Rescheduling will incur an additional 50% fee due to food.

Cancellation by The Juniper Collective:

In the unlikely event that The Juniper Collective needs to cancel the event, customers will receive a full refund of the deposit and any other payments made.
The Juniper Collective will offer to reschedule the event at a mutually convenient time.

No Shows:

If customers fail to attend the scheduled event without prior notification, there will be no refund, and no rescheduling option will be offered.

Group Cancellations:

For group bookings, the cancellation policy applies to the entire group. Individual members of the group cannot cancel their participation for a partial refund.

Special Requests:

If you have any specific spirits you want to try, please inform us at least 7 days before the event. Special requests made less than 7 days before the event may not be accommodated.

Provide your booking details, including the date and time of the event, and your contact information.
