Conditions of Entry
OVERVIEW
The Juniper Collective is committed to curating and nurturing a safe and inclusive environment for all. This means adhering to applicable laws and implementing the relevant procedures and policies required to objectively identify, manage and minimise risks; but also encourage community and an attitude of shared responsibility for compliance and looking out for each other.
We have developed these Conditions of Entry to outline the responsibilities of each member of our community which, along with our Terms and Conditions and Community Standards govern all Juniper Collective guests, staff and activity leaders.
By booking and attending any Juniper Collective Event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, agreed to be bound by and have had an opportunity to seek clarification on any aspects of these Terms.
If you do not agree with any of these Terms, please reconsider booking any event with The Juniper Collective.

BEHAVIOUR
All guests agree to display, promote, and encourage safe and respectful behaviour to fellow guests, Juniper Collective Staff, and Collaboration / Entertainment Staff.
This includes:
1. Being polite, kind, and courteous to others;
2. Using inclusive, respectful language;
3. Respecting the privacy of others;
4. Respecting the personal space of others;
5. Respecting the venue and property of The Juniper Collective;
6. Listening to instructions provided by The Juniper Collective Staff and not hindering the experience for others; and
7. Arriving 15 minutes prior to the start time of your session.
Any guest using rude, offensive, obscene, threatening, or profane language, nudity; touching or making inappropriate physical gestures prior to, during or after a The Juniper Collective Event will be refused entry or asked to leave the venue as determined at the sole discretion of The Juniper Collective Staff.
The Juniper Collective Staff agree to display, promote, and encourage a safe and respectful behaviour to fellow guests, Staff and visitors including:
1. Being polite, kind, and courteous;
2. Using inclusive, respectful language;
3. Respecting the privacy of others;
4. providing guidance that is fair, respectful, and appropriate; and
5. monitoring responsible consumption of alcohol and a safe environment for all.
ENTERTAINMENT (Collaboration Guests / Activity Leaders/ Hosts)
Third party entertainment /hosting/workshops engaged by The Juniper Collective also agree to display, promote, and encourage the safe and respectful behaviour as previously outlined.
If any of these conditions are breached by Third Parties or Guests, they will be requested to leave the premise and a ban will be put in place for any future bookings.
In addition, local authorities may be contacted, and Fines or other penalties may also apply to the individuals and to the venue as governed by applicable laws.
ENVIRONMENT
Surveillance
For the safety and security of guests and staff, please note recorded video
surveillance and silent alarms may be in use.
Cleaning
The Juniper Collective’s Boutique is cleaned daily. Please notify The Juniper Collective Staff if you see anything that requires attention.
Catering and Allergies
The Juniper Collective tailors their grazing platters according to each privately
booked event. For larger, ticketed events, our platters may include food that
contains or may contain peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, sesame seeds, fish,
shellfish, soy, lupin, wheat. Please detail any dietary requirements, food intolerances or allergies you are affected by in our booking form prior to the event in order to allow us to take them into account when curating our platters. Whilst we will make every effort to cater to your dietary requirements, accommodate any allergies or intolerances and impose reasonable steps to avoid contamination between food products, we cannot guarantee that the food provided will be free of allergens.
If you require medical attention at any time during a Juniper Collective Event, you acknowledge that we will share the relevant information provided by you on your Booking Registration with emergency response or paramedic personnel. You will be solely responsible for any costs associated with said treatment. We recommend that you maintain appropriate insurance for your participation in any Event. You understand and accept that you consume the food provided at your own risk and that we shall not be liable for any allergic reactions or health issues that may arise as a result of consuming the food.
EMERGENCY
In the event of an emergency, please follow all directions of The Juniper Collective Staff. We encourage you to familiarise yourself with our Emergency Exits (which are clearly labelled and free of obstruction) should an evacuation be required.
ALCOHOL
The Juniper Collective NZ Gin Boutique is an off-licensed venues (Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012) but will sometimes apply for a Special License for certain events.
The Juniper Collective takes all precautions to operate responsibly and within the parameters of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act NZ 2012 which include but are not limited to:
- refusing entry to intoxicated or underage patrons;
- providing drinking water at all times;
- encouraging responsible alcohol and food consumption
- adhering to our Host Responsibility Policy and Community Standards.
The Juniper Collective prohibits underage drinking and will be entitled to refuse entry to or eject any guests who contravene this provision. Fines and or other penalties may also apply to the individuals and to the venue as governed by applicable laws and local authorities.
OUR RIGHTS
The Juniper Collective reserve the right to:
1. Refuse guests’ entry to the premises on a temporary or permanent basis.
2. Request guests leave the premises without a refund, should they breach any of these Conditions of Entry.
