Description
Aptly named because it’s everything a novelist should be: smooth yet complex, relaxing yet exotic, local yet travelled. The Novelist uses bush honey from Eastern Taranaki to draw together its other botanicals into a smooth yet complex gin. 

Initial piney juniper, with hints of almond and liquorice. The discerning will pick up notes of honey. In the middle there's hints of citrus and almonds alongside peppery horopito, sweet liquorice and local honey from either Rimu Farm or Autawa Apiaries. The finish is dry and smooth with oriental spice and sweet floral undertones.

Fenton Street Gin is made make our 310m above sea-level (because their aspirations are that high!). It is genuinely hand-crafted in 48L batches: no rigid timings, no automatic cuts, their stills don’t have nicknames, the recycled bottles aren’t uniform, their labels aren’t machine applied, they're not after accolades or awards, the journey and the people that come for the ride are the prize.

This is their craft, it is not unique, they just have a flair and passion for telling great stories with their Gin. It is filled with complexity, love, art and beauty.
