Description
Named for the year that New Zealanders stood up for their rights and voted down prohibition, 1919 Distilling's Original Gin (41% ABV) is locally produced in their custom made still. Created using Otago cherries, Mānuka Honey, organic lemons and oranges, plus botanicals including juniper, angelica root and cinnamon, this is a classic gin that celebrates old world charm, passion and charisma.

Distilling
1919 Distilling's ethanol is made from sugar cane the same way they did it in the 1900's. This is unique in New Zealand. They believe in using the best to make the best, rather than taking short cuts that compromise the quality of our product.

Their still is New Zealand made and custom built for the Distillery. By choosing to get the still made locally they where able to insure the absolute best quality and craftsmanship, while supporting the grass roots distilling industry in New Zealand.
