Born from a love of science and nature, Chemistry Gin explored botanicals at a molecular level to bring out the best of each flavour for a perfectly balanced New Zealand gin. “Bold nose of cut grass and pine forest. The texture is silky, with touches of green cardamom pods alongside juniper and citrus. The flavours extend in an attractive floral finish.”

Chemistry Gin is not just a labour of love: it’s the fulfilment of a long-held dream. A dream that began in the Highlands of Scotland, a decade ago. After emigrating to New Zealand in 2019, Marie and Laura made their dream a reality. Marie, a medical biochemist and a cooking instructor, put her scientific mind to work in developing the recipe for Chemistry Gin.

Marie and Laura are also doing their best to reduce their impact on the planet with sustainably sourced botanicals and 'Wild Glass' bottles - 100% post-consumer recycled glass. Their gin is also vegan-friendly, while $2 from every beautiful bottle of Chemistry Gin sold is donated to strengthen women in STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
