Description
A rare gin liqueur made from the jewel of Byron Bay rainforests, the indigenous and rare Davidson Plum. Brookie’s Byron Slow Gin is the first one of its kind. Made in the traditional style of the English sloe gin, this product showcases a unique rainforest fruit native to the subtropical regions of the Northern Rivers in NSW and South East Queensland. These plums are steeped in Brookie’s Dry Gin and macerated for several months to let time weave its magic. Expect exhilarating flavours of rose, watermelon, and bright plum.
About
In 1988, Pam and Martin Brook bought a rundown dairy farm and over 35,000 subtropical rainforest trees were planted. Today, this landscape has transformed into a haven for birds and wildlife. The subtropical rainforest of the Northern Rivers is home to a plethora of unique native edible species and botanicals…. The perfect pantry for creating a world class gin. At Cape Byron Distillery, they keep true to the time honored traditions and the art of distillation whilst creating spirits that capture and showcase terroir of the Northern Rivers.
